Baking is a passion for master baker Emile Maamari and his sister Rosette Shabke, head cake decorator. Muffin Top Bakery first started in Riverside and opened there doors in 1982. The brother sister duo started a family business along with Rosette’s husband Joe Shabke and there two sons Semon, Tony and daughter Gabrielle Shabke. The family as a whole has been working together and selling fresh baked bread at local farmers markets all over southern California. Tony is following in the footsteps of his uncle and began baking at the age of 25 and his sister Gabrielle began learning the tricks of the trade in cake decorating and pastries. The second generation brother sister duo opened a second location in downtown Redlands.
Muffin Top Bakery prides itself on excellent quality baked goods and customer service. We believe you walk in as a customer but leave as a friend. You can find fresh baked bread made from scratch along with French style pastries, danishes, muffins and muffin tops, a wide variety of cookies, chocolate truffles, fruit and cream pies, baklava, & cakes for all occasions. On the savory side you can find Sandwiches, Salads, Personal Pizzas, & turnovers. Master Baker Emile specializes in sugar free and gluten free products as well. He uses high quality ingredients in his baking and the majority of his products have no eggs and no milk making them low fat with no cholesterol, putting Muffin Top Bakery on the healthier end of baked goods and sweets.
